- Analyze the user interface (UI) and backend code of VB applications to extract business rules, workflows, and logic, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth migration to modern platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for the modernization project.
- Develop diagrams such as flowcharts, use case diagrams, and data flow diagrams to visually represent current and future workflows.
- Analyze and optimize database structures during the migration process to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Create and execute test cases to validate system functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify gaps between current system capabilities and future system requirements.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop user-friendly interfaces and prototypes for the modernized applications.
- Facilitate discussions to gather insights, clarify requirements, and validate system designs.
- Organize comprehensive documentation and maintain repositories of system documentation for requirements, design, testing, and system implementation to ensure knowledge continuity.
- Monitor project progress using performance metrics and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
Minimum Education Requirement:- Bachelor’s degree or its working equivalent in computer science, computer information systems, information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
